ST girls’ project

On the last Saturday of every month, hundreds of teenage girls (aged between 13 to 20 years) from Mukuru slum attend Project ST. Here they receive friendship, support, drinks and snacks and self esteem teaching. In a vibrant atmosphere of life, music and fun, they hear messages of hope and leave each time with a pack of free sanitary towels.

Without this project, some of these girls may have resorted to prostitution to get money for monthly ‘supplies’.  The project supports the girls to be able to continue attending school throughout the month. Without it, many would have missed out and risked damaging their education and opportunities.

Prov. 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart New Picturefrom it.
